I was turned on to Nick’s salve by my mother in law who had been using the product for a few months and has sworn by it. I was somewhat skeptical as my primary pain is in my hip and I thought surely it would not be able to penetrate deeply enough to give me any relief. Boy was I wrong! When I was in the hospital with a major back surgery they directed me to take a combination of over the counter meds which I have been doing for just over 2 years now 3 times a day. I have never liked being reliant on the drugs and have always been a little concerned about the long term ramifications of doing so. Nick’s salve has allowed me to all but discontinue the drugs and function as normal, or better, than the drugs I have been taking. I apply it only when I need it which for me is usually only once or twice a day, and go on with my life.
